"Baserritara" statue and church

The statue of “Baserritarra” was made by Jesus Torre in the 19th century. It represents the typical Basque men who work in the land.It is called “Baserritarra” in Basque.

The oldest church of the town is situated behind it. It was built in the early 14th century.Nowadays it has been refurbished and it´s used to do some important events.
